Filet of Beef Bourguignon

I think I’m entering a food coma, or maybe there’s a carbon monoxide leak in our house.  I’m too drowsy to write anything intelligible about this, but my husband suggested saying that this recipe (from the Barefoot Contessa Cookbook) “even made the vegetables taste good, with all that sauce … or is it gravy?… in a big metal pot.”  Poet laureate of our house, that one.  Regardless, we both enjoyed it.  A lot.
