Back in the Saddle Again

The Houston Rodeo and Livestock Show is in town, and it’s one of our favorite times of the year.

What better way to celebrate than with a dessert fit for cowboys, deep in the heart of Texas? These brownies are each baked in their own individual cast iron skillets.

There’s just one flaw with the recipe (from Make it Ahead): unless you’ve been roping steers all day, the serving size is ridiculous. The four of us split one of these brownies (with ice cream), and that was plenty. So be sure you have a good pard’ner (or a whole herd) to eat with you.
